ME
I was born in Khabarovsk on March 7, 2000, into a family of theater actors. By the age of 5, I was already performing on stage with my parents, absorbing the life of the theater, running behind the scenes, acting in plays, and traveling with the theater all over the Far East.
However, I started first grade in the city of Chelyabinsk, at Gymnasium No. 10, which specialized in dance. Every morning, I would get up, and we would go to dance: classical dance, pop dance, folk dance, and later acrobatics. Until 4th grade, I studied dance and took music lessons separately with a teacher, but I didn’t pursue music professionally, as dance was my main focus.
By 5th grade, my family and I moved to Saint Petersburg. At that time, my mom was responsible for my creative activities, and in Petersburg, I began to study music professionally while dance continued to live within me. I managed to achieve success in music, playing Rachmaninoff’s prelude in the main hall of the Hermitage. Initially, it didn’t go well, and I even wanted to quit, but my mom guided me on the right path, and everything fell into place!
In 9th-11th grades, I attended the Theater Institute on Mokhovaya Street, where we studied with real theater masters, learning breathing exercises, acting, oratory, choreography, and music. All of this proved to be useful in the theater because music and dance finally became interconnected in my life.
Unfortunately, after facing the challenges of the theater, I realized that being an actor was not for me. I was very confused and tried to apply for opera directing at the conservatory, creating an explication for the opera *La Bohème*, but my attempt was unsuccessful. I wasn’t accepted, and there was catastrophically little time.
That’s when I had to start gathering material, meaning life experience, so that in the end, I could bring it all together.
I was called into the army, then I worked as a chef, and taught robotics to children at a camp, all the while gaining experience and studying people. Later, I encountered many musicians and actors, which was never in vain either. I began filming my first works with Anton Makarov, a legend and composer. He, in turn, introduced me to Nike Borzov, and so I began to accumulate life experience twice as fast.
Then came emigration, and I ended up in Belgrade. Here, I was embraced by music, cinema, and dance! Everything that had been in my life finally fell together in this city. I met incredible people here—directors and cinematographers such as Andrey Krechetov and Yura Orlov. I am immensely grateful to them for everything they’ve taught me about cinema and for showing me how to work and the importance of appreciating everything around you.
Now, I am on a journey, continuing to gather life experience to bring together future projects and the good fortune in my life.
